We had the honor of hosting Mr. Lewis Gitter, Head of the Political and Economic Affairs Division at U.S. Embassy Podgorica. Mr. Gitter shared with us the main goals of the United States foreign policy in the Balkans and Montenegro and talked with our participants about the current situation in the Balkans.
Also, we had the opportunity to hear more about the human rights situation in Montenegro, with special emphasis on children’s rights, but also to get acquainted with the possibilities of cooperation with the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms of Montenegro. Milica Kovačević, advisor to the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, joined us today from this institution.
Our mentors held their last sessions with their groups. In the last 7 workshops, mentors presented the key link between knowledge and experience on the one hand and practical applications on the other. They guided participants and encouraged the generation of new ideas.
The project “Civic Education School” is funded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Podgorica
